選擇性激光燒結技術成型過程與零件的復雜程度無關,是真正的自由成型。SLS幾乎可以成型任意幾何外形的零件,對中空結構(hollowedareas)、槽中套槽(notcheswithinnotches)及懸臂結構(overhangs)等結構的零件成型特殊有效。
The forming process of selective laser sintering technology has nothing to do with the complexity of parts, and it is truly free forming. SLS can form parts with almost any geometric shape, and is particularly effective for forming parts with hollow structures, notches within notches and overhangs.
選擇性激光燒結通常采用塑料、金屬、陶瓷的粉末作為成型材料。其工藝過程是:先在工作臺上鋪上一層粉末,在計算機掌握下用激光束有選擇地進行燒結(零件的空心部分不燒結,仍為粉末材料),被燒結部分則固化在一起構成零件的實心部分。一層完成后再進行下一層,新一層與其上一層牢牢地燒結在一起。全部燒結完成后,去除多余的粉末,便得到燒結成的零件。
Selective laser sintering usually uses plastic, metal and ceramic powders as molding materials. The technological process is as follows: first, a layer of powder is laid on the workbench, and then the laser beam is used to selectively sinter (the hollow part of the part is not sintered, but is still powder material) under the control of the computer. The sintered parts are solidified together to form the solid part of the part. After the completion of one layer, the next layer shall be carried out, and the new layer shall be firmly sintered with the previous layer. After all sintering is completed, the excess powder is removed to obtain the sintered parts.

目前,熔模精密鑄造在生產結構復雜,用模具幾乎無法實現產品時通常采用快速成型制作其生產所用的蠟模。采用選擇性激光燒結與熔模精密鑄造結合在一起解決生產難題的方法已經得到了很好的應用。即用PSB粉燒結成的零件用毛刷及其它專用工具將零件上的浮粉,終用壓縮空氣將殘余的粉末吹掉。
At present, when the production structure of investment casting is complex and the products can hardly be realized with the mold, the wax mold used in the production is usually made by rapid prototyping. The method of combining selective laser sintering with investment casting to solve production problems has been well applied. That is, the floating powder on the parts sintered with PSB powder is removed with a brush and other special tools, and the residual powder is finally blown off with compressed air.
說明:激光功率的大小影響成型零件的強度和變形,激光功率高,成型零件的強度高,但激光功率過高在燒結過程中會引起變形,一激光功率設定為12.5~15W(實際激光功率設置參數近似為總功率百分比,所以10~20W大致對應為20%~40%)。
Note: the size of laser power affects the strength and deformation of formed parts. High laser power has high strength, but too high laser power will cause deformation during sintering. The first laser power is set to 12.5-15w (the actual laser power setting parameter is approximately the percentage of total power, so 10-20w roughly corresponds to 20% - 40%).
